Bharti Said to Seek $8 Billion Loans to Fund Zain Acquisition (Bloomberg)
Feb. 22 (Bloomberg) — Bharti Airtel Ltd. , India’s biggest wireless operator, plans to borrow as much as $8 billion of loans to finance its proposed acquisition of the African assets of Kuwait’s Mobile Telecommunications Co., two people familiar with the plan said.
