Doug Horton worked for many years in a large corporate environment. The idea of joining a local chamber of commerce “never entered my mind,“ he said. After he was laid off from LandAmerica Financial Group in 2008, Horton and his wife, Sandy, decided to go into business for themselves, starting a TeamLogic IT franchise in Midlothian.
