March 1 (Bloomberg) — Wine producers and environmental groups near Stellenbosch, which lies in the heart of South Africa’s winelands, will oppose a plan by the government’s African Exploration & Mining Finance Corp., to prospect for metals in the area, Business Day newspaper reported, citing wine estate owners.
